     White Sauce

Ingredients
2 T margarine
2 T flour
1/4 t salt
1/8 t pepper
1 c milk
1/2 c shredded cheddar cheese
 

Instructions
Melt margarine in a saucepan over low heat. Stir in flour, salt and pepper. Cook over medium heat stirring constantly until mixture is smooth and bubbly. Stir in milk gradually. Heat to boilling stirring constantly. Boil and stir for one minute. Add cheese and stir until melted and smooth.
Serving Suggestions
serve with Welsh rabbit or over toast
