Ingredients
1/4 cup shortening
1/4 cup butter
1/12 cups packed brown sugar
2 eggs
1/4 cup orange juice
1 tbspl grated orange rind
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup sour milk
31/2 cups flour
 
1 tsp baking soda
2 tsp.baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
ORANGE BUTTER FROSTING
1/ 4 cup butter
2cups powdered sugar
2 1/2 tablespoons orange juice
1 tsp granted orange rind
Instructions
Cream shortening butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs, orange juice, rind vanilla and sour milk. Stir in dry ingredients
Drop by scant teaspoonfuls onto greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 8-10 minutes.
Cool. Frost iwth orange butter cream frosting
