2 large onions, diced

2 cloves garlic, crushed

3 carrots, diced

2 stalks celery

1/4 cup peas

1/2 large leek

4 tablespoons crunchy peanut paste

1/4 cup tomato sauce
|

1 bay leaf
|

2 teaspoon powdered cloves
|

2 teaspoon powdered ginger
|
|
1 tablespoon lemon juice
|
|
1 cup of beef stock
|
|
1 stock cube
|
|
1/4 cup plain flour
|

Instructions |
|
|
Roll beef in flour, braise in oil, place in large
baking tray. Add dry ingredients.

Combine stock, peanut paste, peanut paste and lemon
juice to sauce pan, simmer 1 minute. Add dry
ingredients along with the vegetables
|

|
Bake at 180C for 2 1/2 hours, stirring twice.
Alternatively, in a slow cooker for 8 hours on high
(add additional cup of stock)
