1 1/2 cups red peppers, seeded, quartered, liquidified in the food processor or blender
1 tsp. ground hot red pepper flakes
4 cups sugar or splenda
1 1/2 cups white wine vinegar
1/4 cup Tequila (optional)
2 envelopes (6 oz. - 170 ml) liquid pectin
Instructions
Place pepper mixtures, sugar, red pepper flakes and white wine vinegar in a sauce pan. Bring liquid to a boil. Boil for 2 minutes. Add pectin. Boil hard for 1 minute, stirring constantly. Pour hot mixture into sterilized jars. Seal immediately.
You can decrease or increase the amount of ground pepper flakes according to your taste.

Suggestions
On toast or crackers and cream cheese.
