Cut tomatoes into 1/2 inch thick slices,and arrange in a large shallow dish-set aside.
Combine remaining ingredients and whisk together. Pour over tomato slices. Cover and marinate in refrigerator several hours. 6 servings.
I usually make this the first thing in the morning to serve that evening. I use more garlic, basil and onion than the recipe calls for, you can’t really go wrong with any amount. I take them out of the refrigerator about an hour prior to serving.
