Instructions
Preheat oven to 180 degree celsius.In a large
bowl,cream butter and beat in sugar until light and
fluffy.Add eggs one at a time, beating continously.
Fold in sifted flour and cocoa powder,then add
vanilla and chopped nuts.Continue mixing until
thoroughly blended.Pour into cake rings and bake for
35 minutes.
Let cake cool to room temperature.Chill in
refrigirator.Make trhe chocolate ganache(see it
directions in the dessert category).
Ice whole cake with ganache.Garnish with almond
flakes and chocolate decor.To make desired
chocolate decor,melt white chocolate morsels in a
double boiler,spread out on baking sheet lined
with silpat or silicone baking mat and allow to
set.When nearly set,manipulate silpat to form
desired shape,then allow to cool completely.
