Crush wafers and spread 1/2 in greased 8x11 pan.
Spoon slightly softened ice cream over wafers and freeze until firm.
Cream together butter and powdered sugar.
Add beaten egg yolks, pecans, melted chocolate and vanilla.
Fold in beaten egg whites.
Spread mixture over ice cream, cover with rest of wafter crums and freeze.
