Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line a 9×13 baking pan with parchment paper.
In a large mixing bowl combine the oats, flour, wheat germ, cinnamon, nutmeg, baking soda and salt. In a separate bowl, combine the orange juice, flax, vanilla, oil, brown rice syrup and barley malt syrup until fully incorporated.
Mix the dry and wet ingredients together, then add the sesame seeds, pepitas, cranberries and dried fruit. Press the mixture into the pan, press down evenly. Sprinkle the reserved seeds and cranberries on top of the mixture and press down firmly.
Bake for 25 minutes, until golden. Allow to cool for 40 minutes before cutting.
