Instructions
Wash and soak rice in 4 cups of water and set aside.
Heat ghee in a large saucepan add cloves, cinnamon and cardamons.
Fry lightly for a few seconds, then add cashews an raisins.
Cook for a few additional seconds.
Drain rice keeping water aside.
Mix rice with spices and fry for 2 min.
Add water that was set aside mix well and bring the water to a boil.
Lower heat and cook until rice is tender. Mix periodically until cooked.
The dish can be served with a curry or with yogurt.
