Put one can tomato paste in small saucepan; fill can with cold water; add water about 1/8 cup at
a time stirring paste and water smooth after each addition of water. Pour into large sauce pot.
Repeat above with 2nd can of tomato paste and add to large sauce pot.

Pour one can tomato puree into large sauce pot with paste mixture; stir well. Fill can with water
and add water to the sauce pot a third of a can at a time stirring in each third until smooth. Add
remaining cans of tomato puree; stir. Fill cans with cold water and repeat above procedure
stirring the water in to the pot in thirds.

Add salt; stir. Add pepper; stir. Add garlic powder; stir. Add oregano; stir. Add basil; stir. Add
onion flakes; stir. Add dried parsley; stir. Add sugar; stir. Throw in Parm rind.

Put pan on medium-low heat stirring frequently to prevent sticking. Add homemade meatballs
(see
Trish's Christmas meatball recipe) and Italian sausage. Simmer for at least three hours or
several hours; adjusting for
salt.
