Brown ground beef, drain and then add the onion and spices.
Stir in vinegar. Blend cornstarch and broth and add to meat
mixture stirring well, then add vegetables and chickpeas.
Pour mixture into the bottom of a casserole dish then spread
mashed potatoes over the top.
Bake in a 400 oven for 20 minutes. If the top isn’t browning, you
may need to use the broiler. I did.
