Sift dry ingredients together. Cream butter and sugar, add remaining wet ingredients. Blend flour mixture into egg mixture.
Grease 2 large or 5 small loaf pans. Pour in mixture. Bake at 350 degrees. Large loaves, 1 hours, small loaves 40-45 minutes. Freezes well. Wrap in foil.
