Place 2 thinly sliced seedless cucumbers and 1/2 of a thinly sliced onion in a large bowl. In a saucepan bring to a boil 3/4 c rice vinegar, 3 Tblsp sugar, 1 tsp onion powder and 1/2 tsp salt. Pour over cucumbers and refigerate covered at least 4 hours - serve cold.
