Use two different red varieties of apple, one soft and one firm.
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. For crust, mix all ingredients and divide into two. Roll out each piece to fit a 9 inch pie plate. Gently mix apples, flour, sugar and cinnamon. Place mixture in an unbaked pie shell. Dot with butter and slowly pour milk over top. Place top crust over pie, seal edges and vent with form marks or pretty cut openings to vent. Bake 40-45 minutes.
