3 cups sugar for fresh fruit (or 3/4 cup sugar for canned fruit)
3/4 cup flour, optional
1 1/2 tsp cinnamon
6 cups canned fruit (with 2 1/4 cups juice)
OR
9 cups fresh fruit--cherries, peaches, berries
3 cups biscuit mix (GS recipe in this cookbook)
1 cup liquid
Instructions
Mix sugar, cinnamon, flour, and fruit (use juice if canned). Divide among 3 greased 2 quart casseroles. Combine biscuit mix and liquid. Pat dough 1/2 inch thick. Put in biscuit sized pieces on top of fruit. Bake 1/2 hour. Serve hot.
