2/3 cup cracker crumbs (16 club crackers) or 1/2-2/3 bread crumbs or oatmeal
1/2 -2/3 cup milk
1 beaten egg
4 TBS. minced onion
1/2 tsp. each, dried sage, thyme leaves
1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
1/4 tsp. black pepper
SAUCE
4 TBS. brown sugar, packed
2/3 cup catsup
1 tsp each ground ginger and garlic salt
4 TBS. soy sauce
2 tsp. dry mustard
Sliced green pepper, optional
Instructions
Crumble beef into large bowl, add salt. Sprinkle with cracker crumbs,
bread crumbs or oatmeal then milk. Let stand a few min. until crumbs
are soft. Blend together.
Mix in egg, onion, sage, thyme, nutmeg and black pepper, mixing well.
Shape into 4 loaves. Place in casserole.
In medium bowl, mix brown sugar, catsup, ginger, garlic salt, soy
sauce and mustard. Spread mixture over tops of loaves.
Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 35 min.
Sprinkle with green pepper before serving.
Tip- FREEZE BEFORE BAKING IS BEST!
Pack into individual bread tins, ramekins or zip
lock before baking.

To bake, remove from freezer and bake at 350 for 45 to 55 min. or
until done.
One meatloaf can be made rather than individual.
