preheat oven to 300. Grease and flour tube or bunt pan. In a large bowl, cream butter, gradully add the sugar, until lightly fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, beating after each addition. Gradually add flour alternately with milk, beging and ending with the flou and mixing well after each addition. Mix almond and vanilla extract. Pour batter into pan and bake 1 hour and 40 minutes or until done. Cool for 30 minutes then turn out on wire rack.
