     Whole Wheat Peanut Butter Waffles

Ingredients
3 1/3 c, whole wheat flour (freshly ground, if possible)
2 T. baking powder
3/4 c. peanut butter
2 T. sugar
3 eggs
3 1/3 c. whole milk
1/3 c. oil (I use canola)
1/2 t. salt
Cooking spray or melted butter
 

Instructions
In the bowl of an electric mixer, combine the first 8 ingredients.
Preheat a waffle iron. When it is hot, spray its surface lightly with the cooking spray or brush it with the butter.
Fill a medium-size ladle with batter and pour it onto the waffle iron. Cook until the waffle is golden brown, approx. 3-5 minutes.
Serving Suggestions
Tastes great with butter and fresh berries!
