1.5 cups thick fruit butter (apple, peach, pumpkin etc)
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350. Grease sides and bottom of 8x8
glass baking pan.
For the crust, combine flour through salt in large
mixing bowl. mix well.
In a small bowl, stir together syrup and oil. Pour
into oat mixture and mix until evenly moistened.
Mixture will be crumbly.
Press half of mixture evenly into prepared pan,
packing down firmly. Carefully spread fruit butter
evenly over the base. Sprinkle rest of oat mixture
evenly over fruit butter, and pat down lightly.
bake 20-25 minutes, or until lightly browned. Cool
on wire rack and cut into bars once cooled.
