Place garlic and oil in slow cooker. Sprinkle chicken with salt and pepper, add to slow cooker. Put mushrooms and marsala wine over chicken.
Cook on low 5-6 hours
Mix water and cornstarch in bowl. Remove chicken and stir liquid into cooker. Put on high, cover and cook 10 minutes until thickened. Return chicken to cooker.
