Mix flour, baking powder & salt in a large bowl.

Add the egg/milk mixture, then shread the toasted bread, add in.
|

|
Prepare a pot of boiling salted water (1 teaspoon); drop mixture by small loaf size into the boiling water (easy boil...not wildly boiling) let sit in boiling water for 10 minutes on each side
|
|
|
Take the loaves out, let cool a bit on cutting board; slice thickly and serve with Mom's Pork Roast & Gravy.
Neilly kids had this classic German dish very often growing up.
