Cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in flour' beat in lemon extract and 7UP. Be sure to grease and flour your Woven Traditions Fluted Cake Pan adn then pour batter into the pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 60-85 minutes. Cool for 15 minutes. Then, using a disposable knife, make for certain teh cake has released from teh sides and center of the pan and remove cake from the pan. Dust with powdered sugar if desired.
