Preheat the oven to 350F.
Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat and saute the garlic, onions, and mushrooms for 10 minutes. Add the basil, thyme, walnuts, spinach, and salt and pepper to taste and mix very well. Remove from the heat and stir in the breadcrumbs.
Stuff each mushroom with the filling and place on a baking sheet. Bake for 6 to 8 minutes and serve warm.
