Combine 2/3 cup brown sugar, 1/2 cup milk & choco in saucepan. Stir over very low heat until choco melts.
Gradually add 2/3 cup brown sugar to shortening, creaming until sugar is dissolved. Add vanilla & eggs one at a time. Sift flour, soda & salt. Add to creamed mixture with 1/2 cup milk.
Stir in choco mix. Fill paper cups 1/2 full
Bake moderate over (375F) for 20 min.
