In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, brown sugar and cut in butter until mixture forms fine crumbs. reserve 1 c. crumbs for topping.
Press remaining crumbs into bottom of 8x8 pan
Bake 12-15 minutes at 350 or until lightly browned.
In large mixing bowl, thoroughly cream together cream cheese and sugar; add eggs, amaretto and vanilla, beat well. Spread batter over partially baked crust, Combine almonds with reserved crumbs. Sprinkle over batter. Bake at 20-35 minutes. Cool and cut into bars.
