8 - 10 small yellow squash or zucchini or lebanese squash (?)
FILLING-
1 lb lean ground beef
1 1/2 C rice
1 1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp onion salt
1/2 tsp garlic salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1 small can tomato puree
SAUCE-
1 can tomato paste
1/2 tsp salt
pinch of pepper
water
Instructions
Wash and hollow out the squash
Mix all ingredients for the stuffing
Stuff squash
Stand in pot.
Pour sauce over to about 1 1/2 inches from top of squash
Cover, bring to a boil.
Reduce heat and simmer over low medium heat until done.
45-60 minutes.
