Cream butter and sugars until light and fluffy. Beat in oil and eggs.
Beat well.

Add flour, cream of tartar, baking soda, vanilla and almond extract.

|
Chill dough and drop by tsp onto baking sheets or roll into balls
and flatten with glass dipped in sugar. Or roll out and cut out with
cookie cutters.

|
Bake at 350 degrees about 9 - 12 minutes. Makes 6 dozen. [The
longer the dough chills, the longer the baking time.]
