Preheat oven to 425 degrees F.
Line a 12- cup muffin tin with paper liners.
In a mixing bowl, sift the flour with the cornmeal, sugar,
baking powder, and salt.
In another bowl, combine the eggs, milk, and vegetable oil.
Make a deep hole in the center of the dry ingredients.
Pour the liquid ingredients into the hole.
Stir until smooth.
Fill muffin cups two- thirds full.
Bake for 15 to 20 minutes, or until golden brown on top.
