Preheat oven to 325 Degrees. Line an 8 inch square baking pan with parchment paper or foil allowing a little overhang and spray withnonstick cooking spray
Mix the melted butter and graham cracker crumbs until thoroughly combined. Press the mixure into the bottom of the prepared pan. Bake in oven for 6 min. Remove pan to a cooking rack. Leave oven on.
While the crust is cooling , prepare the chocolate chip cookie dough. In a large bowl beat butter, brown sugar, granulated sugar, sale and vanilla until smooth. Mix in the flour an low speed and mix until just incorporated. Mix in the chocolate chips. Mixture will be dry. It will be crumbled on top of the cheesecake layer.
In another bowl cream together Cream Cheese and Sugar until smooth. Min in the egg and vanilla until smooth. Pour on to the Graham Crust. Use your hands to crumble cookie dough onto cheesecake mixture.
