Slice block of mozzarella lengthwise into 1/2 inch thick sections.
Cut each section in half. Whisk together eggs and water. Mix
together breadcrumbs, garlic, oregano and basil. Stir together
flour and cornstarch. Heat oil in a fryer or deep skillet to 350
degrees. Roll cheese sections in flour mixture to coat. Dip in egg,
then roll in breadcrumbs, coating completely. Fry until golden
brown. Drain on brown paper bags. Serve hot with warm pasta
sauce for dipping.
