Allow cream cheese blocks to soften. Combine all
ingredients in a mixing bowl and mix thoroughly.
Taste, add more garlic powder or salt if needed.
Refrigerate for at least 2 hours. Serve with Wheat
Thins or Triscuits or for a low carb alternative, use
celery sticks or jicama.
May use reduced-fat cream cheese but advise
against using fat-free. For a nut free option, prepare
without pecans and increase dried beef by an 1/8
cup or so.
