Cover cucumber with boiling water, let stand overnight; drain, repeat for 3 more days. On 5th day drain and slice into 1/2 inch pieces. Combine remaining ingredients, bring to a boil and pour over cucumbers, let stand 2 days. On the next day bring to a boil, place in hot sterilized jars and seal. Yeilds 5-7 pints best served cold.
