Combine tahini and lemon juice in food processor. Process for 30 seconds. Scrape and process for one minute.
Add the olive oil, garlic, cumin and salt. Process for 30 seconds. Scrape and process for another 30 seconds.
Drain the chickpeas, reserving the liquid. Add half the chickpeas to the processor, process for 1 minute. Add the second half and process for another minute. Scrape the sides and process for another minute or so.
If hummus is too thick, process while adding a tablespoon at a time of chick pea liquid until the desire consistency is reached.
