Wash and lime,chicken,season with chives,salt w/pepper,grated garlic,and pimientos.In hot pot 1/2 cup oil ,till medium heat add 4 tsps.brown sugar ,till caramelized dark add chicken,stir till coated brown.allow to cook for about 10 minutes,add 4 cups chicken or water bring to boil add all other ingriedients ,including coconut milk and hot pepper and simmer till done.40-45 minutes.
