Place cherries (drained) in blender and mash. Melt margarine and mixt with mil and other ingredients. Drop on wax paper and chill or freeze.
Melt chocolate almond bark in double boiler (slowly - not too hot.) Add chopped peanuts. Dip cherry mounds in chocolate and place on wax paper to cool. Can be frozen.
The creamy dry cherry frosting mix in a box is now hard to find, if at all, so I use the prepared Cherry Frosting and add extra powdered sugar to the mixture. If you cannot find the prepared cherry frosting then use vanilla prepared frosting and add cherry flavoring and extra powdered sugar to mixture. The mixture should be of a stiff consistency.
