1 Cup Butter ( Two Sticks) I do not use margerine, but you can
1 Cup Light Brown Sugar, Packed
1 Cup Sugar
2 Very Jumbo Eggs, use 3 if small
1 Large Tablespoon Good Vanilla
2 1/2 Cups All Purpose Flour
1 Teaspoon Baking Soda
1 Teaspoon Sea or Kosher Salt
1/4 Tespoon Baking Powder
2 Cups Nestle's Toll House Semi Sweet Chocolate Chips
Instructions
Bring Butter to almost room temperature, not to soft. Cream Butter and Sugar. Add Vanilla. Mix. Then add one egg at a time and mix to combine.
In a separate bowl add flour, baking soda, salt and baking powder. While I don't sift it you can or you can just stir with a fork to combine.
Add slowly to the butter mixture. One combined, scrap down sides with a spatula and then while running the mixer on low add the chocolate chips just until combines.
This will need to be refrigerated at least 2 hours or overnight.
Bake on a cookie sheet with parchment paper.
Size of dough ball is up to you.
Usually bakes at 350 for 11 minutes.
