1 can (14 oz) diced tomatoes, with Italian seasonings, undrained
or you can just get diced tomatoes and add your own
spices, like thyme and oregano
1 package (9oz) refrigerated cheese Tortellini
1 cup shredded Mozzarella or Pizza Style Cheese
Instructions
Break up beef and sausage in large pieces into a 10 inch skillet. Cook over medium heat about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, or until brown
Spray inside of a 4 to 6 quart slow cooker with cooking spray. Mix beef mixture with marinara sauce, mushrooms and tomatoes in slow cooker.
Cover and cook on low heat setting 7 to 8 hours. Then when done stir in Tortellini- sprinkle with cheese. Cover and cook on low heat setting about 15 minutes longer or until tortellini is tender.
