This is a recipe from Puerto Rico I do on regular pot not tried in crock pot. Cut chicken and remove all the skin, place in a pot add 2 cups of water, half cup cooking wine or red wine, add potatoes on top, cook on low for about 15 minutes. Take 3 cloves of garlic minced, one fourth cilantro, 4 or 5 sweet peppers one onion chopped, half can tomato sauce, add to the cooking chicken and cook for and additional 10 minutes. Serve over white rice. You can add celery, carrots or any other veggie you may like.
