3/4 cup sugar

1 tsp lemon peel

1 cup water

5 tbs corn starch mixed in with 1/2 cup water

3 tbs butter
|

3 egg yolks (beaten well)

Instructions |
|
|
Combine sugar, salt, lemon peel and water. Bring to a boil.
|
|
|
Add the corn starch/water mixture.
|
|
|
Cook until transparent; remove from heat and add the butter, egg yolks and lemon juice.
|
|
|
Put in pie crust and bake
|
