1.5 lbs of fresh broccoli, cut into bite size pieces
1/3 cup butter
1 tbsp brown sugar
2 tbsp soy sauce
2 tsp white vinegar
1/4 tsp ground black pepper
2 clove garlic, minced
Instructions
Steam broccoli for 7-9 minutes. Drain and set aside.
While the broccoli is cooking, melt the butter over medium heat in a skillet. Add garlic and saute for 3-4 min. Mix in the brown sugar, soy sauce, vinegar, and pepper. Bring to a boil and remove from heat.
Pour over broccoli and serve immediately
