3 lbs apples, peeled, cored and chopped (about 8 cups)
|
|
1/2 cup water
|
|
6 Tblsp sugar
|
|
6 Tblsp Splendaź
|
|
Juice from 1 lemon (aboaut 1 Tblsp)
|
|
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon or apple pie spice
|
|

Instructions |
|
|
1 - Put chopped apples in a large nonstick saucepan and stir in water, sugar, Splendaź and lemon juice.
|
|
|
2 - Bring misture to a boil, cover and , reduce heat to a medium-low. Cook until apples are tender (abouat 10 minutes)
|
|
|
3 - Use a potato masher to break cook apples up into a nice puree.
|
|
|
4 - Stir in ground cinnamon or apple spice. Serve warm or cold.
