Warm olive oil in saucepan, and cook salmon skin-side down until half-done.

Move fillet to plate, and remove skin. Add minced garlic and soy sauce to saucepan to heat up.
|
|
|
Spread apricot jam on formerly-skin side of salmon; place skin-side up in soy sauce, olive oil, garlic mixture in pan.
|
|
|
Cook until done; spoon soy sauce onto top to encourage glaze to melt.
