with the warm water and the yeast. Then add the sugar, oil, gluten and flour. I put it all in my mixer and knead for 8 minutes. THEN… I add the salt and continue kneading for 2 more minutes. Salt hinders the yeast. It makes such a big difference in the fluffiness to add the salt to late. But try not to forget it. It also makes a big difference in taste!
Once the bread has kneaded for 10 minutes I transfer it to a bowl that I’ve sprayed with pam. I put the dough in, then spray the top of the dough and cover with saran wrap. The dough will touch the saran wrap, and makes a mess if it isn’t sprayed.
After an hour or so I spray more pam on the clean counter, and my bread pans. Then I divide into 3 piles of dough, and form into loaves. Then they raise into beautiful loaves and I put into a preheated oven, 350 degrees, for 30 minutes.
