Mix cornmeal, sugar, salt,flour, and baking
powder. In another bowl, mix together melted
margarine, egg yolks, vanilla, and evaporated
milk. Combine with dry ingredients. Beat 4 egg
whites until stiff; fold into batter. Bake in
greased and floured 9 by 13 inch pan. Bake at 350
degrees for 25 to 35 minutes. After you take out
cornbread, melt ½ stick of butter across the top.
