I take all the dry ingredients and mix them together (oats, nuts,
flax, sugar) in a bowl, I then mix and mash in a very ripe banana
and mix together well.
Scoop the mixed bowl into a mason jar and add milk and lemon
juice and stir well making sure all dry ingredients are wet. Add more
oats and banana if needed as well as milk to top off jar
before applying the lid, slice banana and sprinkle with brown sugar.
to make a slightly healthier version- i love to use honey sprinkled
with cinnamon on top! 'can' and store in fridge. Enjoy cold the
following day or up to 4 days later
If you want to warm this up in the microwave, obviously remove the
lid, but do not mix the flax seed in there as it does not do well
when its heated. so make all and omit the flax. Enjoy!
