Wash beans thoroughly. Place in lg. kettle. Cover
with H20 and add 2 tbsp. salt. Soak overnight. Drain
well. Add 2 qts. H20 and meat. Simmer slowly 2 1/2
to 3 hours. Add the rest of ingredients. Simmer
another 30 minutes.
