I made the chocolate base cake using a Betty
Crocker pkt cake mix adding a teaspoonful of
coffee diluted with some hot water and chocolate
chips,I baked it in a spring form tin,When ready
while still warm I used the wooden spoon handle
and made holes in the surface of the cake and
poured caramel ,nestle has tinned caramel ,I heat
it through a bit then pour it over the cake . Let
it set then over it pour nutella ,heated in a
saucepan or in microwave be careful just heat til
its soft to pour and spoon easily over the
caramel. Let it cool then put in the fridge til
nutella layer is set. Beat a tub of mascarpone
with a pkt of whipping cream,add vanilla and spoon
it over the nutella ,decorate with melted
chocolate & hazelnuts . Chill in fridge til ready
to serve. Run a knife around the cake tin and
remove springform carefully .
