To make 12 rosti you need 2 large cold parboiled
potatoes peeled and grated,1 large onion grated
and excess liquid drained then added to the grated
potatoes,some grated cheese and 2 tablespoons
melted butter and seasoning ,1/4 teaspoon turmeric
(I added this because it enhances the colour) 1/4
teaspoon garlic powder or 1 clove crushed garlic.
Mix everything lightly with a fork then put
spoonfuls in a greased 12 bun tray . Press lightly
then bake in a 180 C preheated oven until golden
about 20 minutes then let them cool a bit and turn
out onto a plate .
