If you don’t have powdered milk--use 1 c. milk in place of 1 c. warm water
Let machine knead dough and do first rising. Then, take out dough and roll to 1/2 inch thick and cut for doughnuts or long johns. Let rise, cover with cloth for 20 minutes. Fry in deep fat at 375-400 degrees (very hot) Crisco or oil. Drain and sugar or frost.
