1 16 oz. can whole kernel corn, drain & reserve liquid
5 slices bacon, fried, then cut up-save drippings
1 medium onion, sliced thinly
1 c. diced raw potatoes, pared
½ tsp. salt
2 stalks celery, cut up
2 peeled & sliced carrots
1 can cream of celery soup
1 ½ c. milk or half and half
1 can drained corn
Instructions
To bacon drippings in saucepan, add reserved liquid, celery, carrots, onion, potatoes and salt. Cover and simmer 15 minutes or until vegetables are tender.
Add-
1 can cream of celery soup 1 ½ c. milk or half and half
1 can drained corn
Heat through. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Crumble bacon over chowder before serving. Serves 4.
